New research project--Geomechanical Effects of Cumulative Fluid Injection through Hydraulic Fracturing in the KSMMA

The BC OGRIS has provided a grant to Enlighten Geoscience Ltd. under the seismicity research and monitoring funding envelope. The objective of the research project is to increase understanding of the relationship between induced seismic events and any changes in subsurface pressure that may occur from fluid injection and production. The project will use a variety of data types to quantify the change in subsurface fluid (pore) pressure around a set of well pads with multiple hydraulically stimulated horizontal wells.
