New Research--auditing ground motion data submitted to the B.C. Energy Regulator

The BC OGRIS has provided a grant to Mahan Geophysical Consulting, Inc. to audit ground motion data (waveforms) submitted to the B.C. Energy Regulator (BCER) with the intent to understand if the data collected is adding to the induced seismicity body of knowledge. The current submission guidelines will be reviewed and updated as necessary to aid the collection of data that is in an appropriate format and quality for research and analysis. Results are anticipated by early 2025.
