Continuing support for collecting baseline water quantity data in small watersheds in NEBC (2024)

BC OGRIS is providing grants to four First Nation communities and Peace Country Technical Services Ltd to continue the collection of baseline water quantity data through 2024. The program focuses on collecting water quantity data in small watersheds in Northeast BC (NEBC) where information is currently limited or nonexistent—enabling First Nation communities and the BC Energy Regulator to share knowledge and better understand how water is managed and used.
