The SCEK Fund is supporting the installation of a state-of-the-art seismic array network to collect data on seismic activity in North East BC. (GeoscienceBC, Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers, Natural Resources Canada).
Arranging the support of a project to implement an air monitoring program in North East BC. Year 1 of the 3 year project involves the establishment of an Interim Air Monitoring Working Group and the installation of priority rural monitors. The monitoring network will also be designed in year 1 and implemented in the project’s second and third years (BC Ministry of Environment, BC Oil and Gas Commission, Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers).
SCEK funded project to install a Simulated Well Site Facility/Drilling Rig at Northern Lights College in Fort St. John, BC is completed.
